Return the green release lever to

its original position.

Inspect the original for tears or

curling. If it is in good condition,

return it to the starting position

on the document feeder and

restart the scan job. If the original

is wrinkled, smooth it out and

scan using the Book Mode.

This error indicates a scanner system error.

Turn the scanner off.

Turn the scanner back on.
