Turning the Printer On and Off

This following sections describe how to turn your printer on and off.

Turning Your Printer On

Follow the instructions below to turn your printer on:

1 Make sure that the power cord is securely plugged into the wall socket and the

printer.

2 Set the printer’s power switch to the On position. The printer takes about eight

minutes to warm up before it can print.

Note: When the printer is turned on, the Power indicator blinks repeatedly.

Once it stops blinking and remains on, you can send data from the computer to the

printer.

3 Send the data from the computer to the printer when the READY message

appears on the operation panel display.
