7 Uninstalling

Close all applications before uninstalling the Printer Driver for Universal Print.

Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2012 and Windows

Server 2012 R2

1. Close all applications.

2. Open the Printers (or Devices and Printers) folder.

3. Delete the printer icon corresponding to the driver that will be uninstalled.

4. From the Print Server Properties, click the Change Driver Settings button.

5. Open the Drivers tab.

6. Select the driver to be uninstalled.

7. Press Remove.

8. Select “Remove driver and driver package”.

9. Log off from the current user account or restart the computer.

Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008

1. Close all applications.

2. Open the Printers (or Printers and Faxes) folder.

3. Delete the printer icon corresponding to the driver that will be uninstalled.

4. Right-click in the Printers folder and select “Run as Administrator”.

5. From the Print Server Properties, navigate to the Drivers tab.

6. Select the driver to be uninstalled.

7. Press Remove.

8. Select “Remove driver and driver package”.

9. Log off from the current user account or restart the computer.

Windows XP and Windows Server 2003

1. Close all applications.

2. Open the Printers folder (or Printers and Faxes).

3. Delete the printer icon corresponding to the driver that will be uninstalled.

4. From the Print Server Properties, navigate to the Drivers tab.

5. Select the driver to be uninstalled.

6. Press Remove.

7. Log off from the current user account or restart the computer.
