CONFIGURATION

• Name:

Enter the Reader´s name. The name should be logical.

• Active:

You can deactivate some Reader by clicking on the activated

control box. Then currently sent jobs of this Reader won´t be

processed. That is of interest when the job list is filled or the

jobs of certain Readers or PLOTCLIENTS shall not be

processed. As soon as the Reader is activated again, the jobs

that were sent from PLOTCLIENTS will be processed

afterwards.

• Path:

In the spool directory a subdirectory will be created where

the arriving jobs will be saved for the Reader. These

directories can also be located on other computers. In field

"Path" edit the name of the new subdirectory. If you haven't

created this directory yet, you will be asked whether the

program should create the new directory. Confirm it. As the

directory has to be released in the network, a release name

is necessary. Confirm the proposed name or enter a different

name.

You also can enter an existing path or choose one clicking

the browse button. Confirm your settings. Then you will be

asked for the release name.

• Default SSL:

A Default.SSL file is created for every Reader with following

purposes: Each job is sent with a SSL file or a CFG file where

the print settings are set. Single drawing files can be copied

in a CFG spool directory without CFG file. The Default.ssl

settings will be overwritten by the job specific SSL- or CFG-

file, as far as they are allowed by access rights. Is a CFG

missing, are there missing entries in the CFG or SSL file or

they may not be set, the corresponding settings of the

Default.SSL are used. By clicking the Default.SSL button you

open a dialog where you can preset defaults for arriving

print jobs. The settings are equal to the job editor settings in

RW-480 PLOTBASE. Further explanations about the settings

you can find on page 93.
